Two rates, one simple idea
You should always pay less — or nothing — on the bookings you take yourself.
Phone & walk-in
A booking you enter at the counter yourself.
Charged at the low rate for your tier — 0% on Scale. You took the booking; we're just the system that records it, papers it and processes the payment.
Online
A rider who books themselves, any time of day.
Charged at the standard rate. This is the part we do the most work for: the booking engine, the 24/7 self-service, the payment and agreement — plus the marketing that brings riders to it.
Pricing FAQ
What counts as a phone & walk-in booking vs an online booking?+
If you or your staff enter it in the portal — a phone enquiry, a walk-in, a regular you booked in yourself — it is a phone & walk-in booking at the low rate. If the customer books themselves through your booking page or widget, it is an online booking at the standard rate.
Is it really my brand?+
Yes. Your booking site and widget carry your name, your logo and your colours. There is no ReviRide branding shown to your customers on any tier. They are your customers and your reputation.
What is the fee calculated on?+
The rental charge plus any excess-reduction (DER/UDER) charge you sell. Refundable security bonds are excluded — that money is yours and we take nothing on it — and so is any insurance premium that goes straight to the insurer. Fees are quoted in AUD and GST is handled on Australian invoices.
Who handles payments, and when do you take your fee?+
Your customers pay online at the time of booking and the funds settle to your own account. Our fee is deducted automatically as part of that payment, so there are no invoices to pay and nothing to reconcile after the fact. Standard card processing fees apply and are passed through at cost — ReviRide does not mark up card processing.
What happens with cancellations and refunds?+
Your cancellation policy applies — you set it. If a booking is refunded in full, our fee on it is reversed too. If you retain a cancellation charge under your own policy, we take our normal percentage of the amount you keep.
Who arranges rental insurance?+
ReviRide can arrange comprehensive commercial rental insurance, and that is the default. If you already hold suitable cover, you can use your own policy instead — the choice is made per vehicle when you add it to your fleet, including whether to pay a daily rate or an annual premium for that bike.
Do I get help learning how to run rentals?+
Yes — training is included on every tier. We train your staff on the system and provide a rental operations manual covering the non-software side: counter process, rider vetting, handover checks, and handling damage and disputes. Thirteen years of running rentals, handed over.
Can I change tiers or leave?+
Yes. Move up or down as your volume changes, and there are no lock-in contracts or exit fees — the new-operator terms are simply held for 12 months.
